I am now a sophomore and I think time goes too fast. Especially when you are in school. I'm looking to change my major again. To Social Work. The only bummer about that is I can't major in English then and graduate in four years. I have a meeting with some Social Work advisor person on Thursday and I am excited. I really want to major in Social work and have a minor in English literature.

My mother has been pushing me constantly to find out what I want to do when I get older, and the only thing I'd like with English is to be a College Professor. I can't afford to get my PHD right out of college. So I would basically be screwed into doing what I don't want to do.

Last year, I changed my major to Psychology, but that didn't work very well. I hated my class. I did absolutely no homework, the class was boring and I thought it was a waste of time. Then I learned I could only counsel people if I had my PH.D. and I said screw that. Do you have any idea how much schooling that would take? Like, 10 years after I graduate.

I don't want to go to school that long for something I don't even really want to be. And I think I want to keep my writing as personal as I can. So I am going to keep it that way.

Social Work Major and English Lit Minor...here I come!
